CONTEXT

I am a teacher in Escola Els Costerets (Sant Pere de Ribes), and this is my digital portfolio for GEP (year 2).

I decided to plan a project about the Iberians for my 5th grade students because I think that we know very little about the people who were living in the Iberian Peninsula when the Romans arrived.

The project begins with the driving question "How can we create a museum exhibition about the Iberians in our school?"

Students have to find information about our ancestors through videos and websites in English. Then they must design panels, objects, models and costumes for the exhibition. They also have to prepare the oral explanation for the visitors. Finally, they will show everything the've learned opening the exhibition to parents and other students from our school.
